Cuentos y Cafe: A Literary Night on March 23

Celebrate reading Lation syste with a Cuban Café, serving chocolate milk and churros, a Cuban song and dance presentation from the second-grade Spanish classes and listen to renown children's author and storyteller, Carmen Agra Deedy from 5-7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 23.

Shop our spring book fair and purchase Carmen AgraDeedy's newest book, the Rooster Who Would Not Be Quiet. Cool fact is that Deedy immigrated from Cuba at an early age and attended Glennwood Elementary. All books will be personalized and signed by the author after the storytelling session.
